I have written more than 600 magazine articles. Most of them are pretty darn good reading. (Translation: The term "pretty good" equals "excellent" for non-Minnesotans, who are less fluent in understatement than Minnesotans.) I've even won the Minnesota Page One Award from the Society of Professional Journalists for a feature I wrote about my daughter's adoption. Pretty darn good, huh?
