I have written five books. I am the sole author of these top three books, which have come to be known as The Lefse-Lutefisk Trilogy. The two books below that are collaborations, which are books I wrote for others. And the bottom book is one I edited.

Nearly 30,000 copies of The Last Word on Lefse have been sold—pretty good for a niche market. This book will outlast me. It is a timeless treasure, one that will fill your tummy and warm your heart.

The Last Word on Lutefisk: True Tales of Cod and Tradition (1996, Conrad Henry Press). The book, which covers the history, humor, and tradition of this uniquely festive food, was a finalist in the 1996 non-fiction category of the Minnesota Book Awards. In 1997, it earned the Merit Award for Excellence in “Book Publishing in the Humorous Category” and “First Book as a Publisher Category.” This award is from the Minnesota Independent Publishers Association.
